The vision for this café was inspired by my childhood yellow table, around which my family ate every meal. I literally grew up around the yellow table. This table was always full - in addition to our family of five, it seemed there were always extra people: friends, neighbors, or extended family members. My mom’s philosophy was “there’s always room for one more!” This heirloom table was passed on to me as a college graduation present, and has followed me over the past 2 decades from Pittsburgh to Nashville to NYC to Brooklyn, and back to Nashville again. I continue to gather friends and family around my yellow table, and it’s been my dream to extend this hospitality to a wider community.
